I must say I am a little disappointed that nobody wants anything made by me except for Sadie. I guess she's going to get something really good!!

Spreading Sunshine
Allison had this on her blog and I thought it was a fun idea. So here goes: The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me! Made with tons of love just for you! It might be a fun sewing project, a sweet letter to you from me, or some yummy goodies, you might be surprised what you get! Give it a try! The catch? You must re -post this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same on your blog. The first 5 people to do so and leave a comment telling me they did win a lovely little treat for themselves! Have Fun! Ready........Set............Go!

Catching up
I have been putting off updating the blog for a while and finally decided to just get it done. So don't be overwhelmed with all the photos.
This is a cute one of Donevan and me.
Here are all the Zinser boys. This was taken at Don's Memorial. Don Sr. is holding Donevan in the middle. Then it goes Justin, Evan, Warren, and Derek. Good lookin' crew.
Iris loves to help me make cookies. Or rather she likes to help me eat the cookie dough and then the cookies.
She is just eyeing those cookies. Up on her tiptoes to get a better look.
So I gave her one and went into the office for a few minutes. When I came back out this is what I found. On the coffee table were three cookies each with a bite or two taken out of it. Needless to say I moved the cookies a little further out of the reach of sneaky little hands.
This was from a different episode of cookie eating.
Iris and Donevan are pretty cute together. She likes to lean on whatever chair he's sitting in and talk to him. He usually talks back and giggles and they just have a good time. If he's in the glider chair and it's moving she'll hop on and put her feet up and take a ride on it with him.
The many adorable smiles of Donevan.
Iris deep in thought.

Don Zinser- Father & Friend
I just wanted to post a little tribute to Evan's dad, Don. He left this earth on New Year's Day 2009. He was an amazing man. When I was dating Evan, he made me feel really welcome into the Zinser family. He loved me for who I was and loved me like a daughter. I am grateful for the love and concern that he always showed Evan and me. I am also grateful for the way that he raised Evan. Evan is a lot like him in many ways
Don truly lived for his family and friends. He would do anything for anyone. And he never expected anything back. He was just glad to be able to help. He taught Evan many things. He gave Evan his love for fishing and cars and he helped numerous times with improvements on our house.
I am so pleased that my kids were able to meet him, but sad that they didn't get to know him. He was so excited about being a grandpa. Iris will see a picture of him and say "Bompa". She loved him very much. Donevan shares his name and will hopefully share his personality.
There will be a memorial service Wednesday January 14 - 6:00 pm
Sparks Christian Fellowship
510 Greenbrae Dr.
Sparks, NV 89431
Reception immediately follows service.
He was loved and respected by many and will truly be missed.
